Joel Salk

Joel Salk, Chairman

Joel organized the investor group that acquired First Eagle Bank in 1991.  Prior to First Eagle, Joel was the President and CEO of River Oaks Bank and Trust Company in Calumet City, IL which he acquired in the mid-1970's. Subsequently, in the late 1980's River Oaks was acquired by the Exchange National Bank of Chicago, at which time Joel joined the Board of Directors of Exchange National Bank and continued managing Exchange River Oaks Bank until 1991.

   
Andy Salk

Andy Salk, President and Chief Executive Officer

Andy is part of the investor group that acquired First Eagle Bank in 1991. His thirty-five year banking career started with Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh, PA and also includes River Oaks Bank in Calumet City, IL, The Exchange National Bank of Chicago, and LaSalle Bank. In addition, Andy is a Director of ACCION, the largest micro-lender in Chicago, a Board Member of Community Investment Corporation, the leading lender for affordable rental housing in Chicago, the Chairman of the Illinois Bankers Association Membership Committee, and a member of the State Banking Board of Illinois.

 

   
Pat Kaveney

Patrick Kaveney, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Pat joined First Eagle Bank in 1989 as Vice President/Cashier, with prior banking experience as Cashier. In 1997 he was elected to the Board of Directors and today is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Pat oversees the daily operations of the Bank including financial, regulatory, operating, and all other non-lending functions at the Bank. Pat is a member of the Hanover Park Business CONECT committee.

   
Rose Wageman

Rose Wageman, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer

Rose has worked with the Salk family for over thirty years, beginning her banking career as a management trainee with River Oaks Bank in Calumet City, IL. In 1991 Rose joined First Eagle Bank. Today, Rose has overall responsibility for Retail Banking and the Loan Department, including commercial lending, consumer lending, compliance, credit administration, and interfacing with regulators.  In 2012 she was elected to the Board of Directors. She is also a member of the CREW Network, the industry's premier business networking organization dedicated to supporting the achievements of women in commercial real estate. Rose joined the Deborah’s Place Board in 2016. Founded in 1985, Deborah’s Place mission is to help single women who are homeless. Deborah’s Place has helped more than 4,000 women heal and move on from the traumatic experience of homelessness.
