Rose Wageman

Rose Wageman, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer

Rose has worked with the Salk family for over thirty years, beginning her banking career as a management trainee with River Oaks Bank in Calumet City, IL. In 1991 Rose joined First Eagle Bank. Today, Rose has overall responsibility for Retail Banking and the Loan Department, including commercial lending, consumer lending, compliance, credit administration, and interfacing with regulators. In 2012 she was elected to the Board of Directors. She is also a member of the CREW Network, the industry's premier business networking organization dedicated to supporting the achievements of women in commercial real estate. Rose joined the Deborah’s Place Board in 2016. Founded in 1985, Deborah’s Place mission is to help single women who are homeless. Deborah’s Place has helped more than 4,000 women heal and move on from the traumatic experience of homelessness.

Zachary Braun

Zachary Braun, Senior Vice President and Group Head – Chicago

Zachary began his banking career with First Eagle Bank in 2002 as a Credit Analyst and is currently a Senior Vice President.  Zachary delivers to bank customers an expertise in all aspects of commercial lending with a focus on real estate finance.  Prior to joining the bank, Zachary was a Commercial Real Estate Broker handling leasing and sales assignments on the behalf of clients.

Zachary obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from DePaul University with a dual concentration in Finance and Real Estate Investment & Finance and has been a board member of the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs since 2012.

Rick Burns

Rick Burns, Senior Vice President, Commercial Leasing

Rick began his banking career as a part-time Teller while he was in college. Since the mid-1980's he has specialized in Commercial Equipment Leasing Finance. Rick joined First Eagle Bank in 2003 where he concentrates on developing and maintaining long-term relationships with Commercial Leasing clients throughout the country.

Rick shares his expertise with Chicago's A Safe Haven Foundation. A Safe Haven Foundation is a social business enterprise that empowers families and individuals experiencing homelessness or crisis to achieve sustainable self-sufficiency. Rick volunteers his time to help with the financing of properties the Foundation acquires. Rick is also active in the Salvation Army's "Ways to Work" lending program and is a member of their Loan Committee. Ways to Work is the nation's largest and most successful alternative to predatory auto loans for working poor families.

Faruk Daudbasic

Faruk Daudbasic, Vice President, Commercial Lending

Faruk began his career at First Eagle Bank as an intern while he was a student at Northeastern Illinois University. Upon graduation in 2005, he became a full time Credit Analyst and was soon promoted to a Lending Officer. Today Faruk is a Vice President, and is responsible for a large commercial loan portfolio.

Additionally Faruk serves as First Eagle Bank's liaison to its community development activities and has become a well recognized and respected member of the community development world. He has been instrumental in spearheading First Eagle Bank's CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution) efforts. He serves on the Board of Directors of Facing Forward to End Homelessness and Neighborhood Lending Services, an affiliate of NHS Chicago. Faruk is also a member of the CIC 1-4 Unit Rental Redevelopment Loan Committee.

Faruk obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Roosevelt University in Finance and Real Estate and is an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern Illinois University, teaching Real Estate Finance. Faruk is also a licensed Real Estate Broker. 

Gene Khalimsky

Gene Khalimsky, Vice President, Commercial Lending

Gene began his banking career in 1996. Since that time he has become well versed in all aspects of banking including personal banking, branch management, consumer and commercial lending. He has worked at a large national bank, was Vice President of a De Novo Bank and most recently, he managed a large commercial loan portfolio of multifamily, C&I and SBA loans. Gene joined First Eagle Bank in 2013 and is excited to be a part of a team that is passionate about relationship banking.

Gene holds a Bachelors Degree of Science in Finance/International Business from Elmhurst College. Gene is also fluent in Russian.

Rachel Reinwald

Rachel Reinwald, Commercial Lending Officer

Rachel began her career as an internal auditor at a large community bank in Chicago. Rachel joined First Eagle Bank in 2010 as a Credit Analyst. Her passion for finance and customer service compliments First Eagle Bank’s culture. Today she is a Commercial Lending Officer with a steadily growing portfolio. 

Rachel graduated with Cum Laude honors from DePaul University Strobel Honors Accounting program in 2007. She obtained dual majors in Accounting and Finance. Rachel volunteers her time with Illinois Jump$tart Coalition as the Secretary of the Board and as part of their Scholarship and Grants Committee. The organization promotes youth financial literacy in Illinois. Rachel is also fluent in Spanish. 

Ernesto Maturrano

Ernesto Maturrano, Commercial Lending Officer

Ernesto began his well rounded banking career in 2003.  He started as a teller and worked his way up the ranks developing his skillset along the way.  Since that time, he has succeeded in various roles of banking including personal banking, residential lending and branch management for institutions including TCF Bank, Chase Bank and Bank of America.  After obtaining his Bachelors Degree of Technical Management with a concentration in Finance from DeVry University, he reached out to his hometown bank, First Eagle Bank, where he joined as a Credit Analyst in 2013 and was soon after promoted to Commercial Lending Officer.  

Ernesto grew up in Hanover Park, and attended Greenbrook Elementary, Springwood Middle School and Lake Park High School.  He obtained his Bachelors Degree of Technical Management with a concentration in Finance from DeVry University.  Ernesto is the treasurer and a governing board member of Scholastic & Community Advancement, Inc.  He is fluent in Spanish and also volunteers for Centro de Informaciòn. 

Chris Manley

Christopher Manley, Commercial Lending Officer

Chris began his banking career with First Eagle Bank in 2013 as a Credit Analyst after graduating from the University of Iowa. Chris was promoted to a Commercial Lending Officer in 2015, and displays a passion towards helping local businesses and real estate investors reach their goals.

Chris shares his expertise with the Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives Micro Finance Group by serving as a Loan Committee member. Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives Micro Finance Group provides loans to small businesses primarily in low to moderate income neighborhoods throughout the City of Chicago.
