Christine Freund, Senior Vice President

Christine began her career at First Eagle Bank in 1990 as a bookkeeper. Over the years, Christine has taken on more and more responsibility, including data processing, human resource, compliance and supervising the Personal Banking and Teller departments in Hanover Park. In addition, Christine has been the Compliance Officer and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer of the bank. Today, along with other responsibilities, Christine is in charge of product development and treasury management. Christine feels very fortunate to be working for a business that serves the Hanover Park community she grew up in.


Cathy Sanders, Vice President

When Cathy joined First Eagle Bank in 1995 as a part time proof operator, she already had fifteen plus years of banking experience. Cathy transitioned into a full time employee five months later and continued to take on additional bookkeeping functions. She was the bookkeeping supervisor for thirteen years. Cathy is now responsible for Human Resources, Business Customer Remote Capture, Compliance, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) functions and other special projects.

Cathy volunteers with DuPage Habitat for Humanity. In addition to being a member of the Finance Committee and a member of the Audit Sub-Committee , Cathy also shares her musical talents by performing at Home Dedication Ceremonies.



Pam Tennant, Vice President and Cashier

In 1973 Pam started her banking career in the Bookkeeping department and soon moved to Accounting. She came to First Eagle Bank in 1998 as Assistant Cashier, progressed to Internal Auditor and is now Cashier. Pam's responsibilities include the bank's Regulatory Reporting, liaison for Internal Auditors and performing internal compliance audits. Pam is also responsible for the management of the Bookkeeping Department.


Nonoy Vargas, Vice President, Loan Operations

When Nonoy joined First Eagle Bank in 2000 as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Documentation, he had ten years experience in Loan Operations. Nonoy is Vice President of Loan Operations and has overall responsibility for the documenting, booking, and maintenance of all loans in the bank's portfolio. He heads up the disbursement area and serves as general gatekeeper for the loan operations of First Eagle Bank.


Mikki Francione, Assistant Vice President, Hanover Park Personal Banking

Mikki had been in banking for nineteen years when she started her career with First Eagle Bank as a Teller Supervisor in 1995. With previous experience in teller duties, auditing and lending, she soon became an Officer of First Eagle Bank. Shortly thereafter she became supervisor of Personal Banking and today is Assistant Vice President. Mikki is First Eagle Bank's BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) officer.

Mikki is a member of the Roselle Chamber of Commerce, the Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce and is Treasurer of the Village of Hanover Park Chamber of Commerce.

Melanie Weirich

Melanie Weirich, Assistant Vice President

Melanie has been with First Eagle Bank since 2014. She started her career in banking as a Teller while she attended college. Upon graduation from college, she secured a position in a de novo community Bank in Bloomingdale in the Lending Department. Throughout her career, she was promoted in the lending department learning many aspects involved in lending from calling on past dues and documenting loans to visiting and negotiating with Borrowers. She took some time off from her career to raise her children and re-entered the banking work force in 2008. She spent the last several years working out distressed assets for a small community Bank. The Bank eventually sold and she is now happy to have secured a position as Assistant Vice President in the Disbursement area of a solid community Bank.


Susan Johnson, Commercial Relationship Officer

In 1987 Susan began her banking career as a Teller and soon became a Teller Supervisor. From there she has spent time in New Accounts, Loan Administration, and Consumer Loan Documentation Preparation.
She came to First Eagle Bank in 2000 as a Commercial Relationship Administrator and is now an Officer of the bank. Susan performs a multitude of functions at First Eagle Bank including administrative and customer support for Rose Wageman, supervision and on-going training of the Commercial Relationship Administrators, and she has total responsibility for the banks HMDA reporting.

Susan enjoys giving back to the community through Financial Literacy classes. She has reached out and held classes to diverse groups from teens to seniors.


Jennifer Chiquito, Banking Officer/Branch Manager

Jennifer started her career at First Eagle Bank in 2006 as a full-time teller. She was soon promoted to a Personal Banker where she spent the last 7 years building customer relationships and helping small businesses with their daily banking. In 2015, Jennifer was promoted to the Branch Manager of the West Loop facility where she continues to bring in new clients and grow existing relationships as well as maintain the branch’s day to day operations. Jennifer is currently involved with Horizon’s for Youth, a non-profit organization that focuses on the underserved youth in Chicago by providing a path to college through mentoring, tutoring, sponsoring, and simply educating these children about their options. She is also a member of the Young Professionals Board for HACE (Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement), a national non-profit organization dedicated to the employment, development, and advancement of current and aspiring Latino professionals.


Kay Gieseke, Banking Officer

Kay came to First Eagle Bank with eleven years of experience in bank operations and received her training through the American Institute of Banking. She joined First Eagle in 2010 as a part time teller and then cross trained as a relationship banker. Kay then became a full time employee in the bookkeeping department. She transitioned to the position of Bookkeeping Supervisor and has the responsibility of overseeing the day to day functions of the bookkeeping department.
