Christine Freund

Christine Freund, Senior Vice President

Christine began her career at First Eagle Bank in 1990 as a bookkeeper. Over the years, Christine has taken on more and more responsibility, including data processing, human resource, compliance and supervising the Personal Banking and Teller departments in Hanover Park. In addition, Christine has been the Compliance Officer and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer of the bank. Today, along with other responsibilities, Christine is in charge of product development and treasury management. Christine feels very fortunate to be working for a business that serves the Hanover Park community she grew up in.

Cathy Sanders

Cathy Sanders, Vice President

When Cathy joined First Eagle Bank in 1995 as a part time proof operator, she already had fifteen plus years of banking experience. Cathy transitioned into a full time employee five months later and continued to take on additional bookkeeping functions. She was the bookkeeping supervisor for thirteen years. Cathy is now responsible for Compliance, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Human Resources and other special projects.

Cathy volunteers with DuPage Habitat for Humanity. In addition to being a member of the Finance Committee and a member of the Audit Sub-Committee, Cathy also shares her musical talents by performing at Home Dedication Ceremonies.

Pam Tennant


Pam Tennant, Vice President and Cashier

When Pam joined First Eagle in 1998 as Assistant Cashier, she had 25 years of banking experience. Over the years, Pam has worked in Accounting , as Internal Auditor and today is Vice President and Cashier. Pam’s responsibilities include management of the Bookkeeping Department, regulatory reporting and liaison for Internal Auditors and IT Service Providers. 

Nonoy Vargas

Nonoy Vargas, Vice President, Loan Operations

When Nonoy joined First Eagle Bank in 2000 as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Documentation, he had ten years experience in Loan Operations. Nonoy is Vice President of Loan Operations and has overall responsibility for the documenting, booking, and maintenance of all loans in the bank's portfolio. He heads up the disbursement area and serves as general gatekeeper for the loan operations of First Eagle Bank.

Melanie Weirich

Melanie Weirich, Assistant Vice President

Melanie has been with First Eagle Bank since 2014. She started her career in banking as a Teller while she attended college. Upon graduation from college, she secured a position in a de novo community Bank in Bloomingdale in the Lending Department. Throughout her career, she was promoted in the lending department learning many aspects involved in lending from calling on past dues and documenting loans to visiting and negotiating with Borrowers. She took some time off from her career to raise her children and re-entered the banking work force in 2008. She spent several years managing the distressed assets of a small community Bank. The Bank eventually sold and she secured a position as Assistant Vice President in the Disbursement area of a solid community Bank.

Melanie volunteers as a mentor for Stepping Stones, which is a non for profit organization which provides emotional support, financial assistance, a safe environment and career opportunities to women and their children who are victims of domestic violence.

Susan Johnson

Susan Johnson, Commercial Relationship Officer

In 1987 Susan began her banking career as a Teller and soon became a Teller Supervisor. From there she has spent time in New Accounts, Loan Administration, and Consumer Loan Documentation Preparation.
She came to First Eagle Bank in 2000 as a Commercial Relationship Administrator and is now an Officer of the bank. Susan performs a multitude of functions at First Eagle Bank including administrative and customer support for Rose Wageman, supervision and on-going training of the Commercial Relationship Administrators, and she has total responsibility for the banks HMDA reporting.

Susan enjoys giving back to the community through Financial Literacy classes. She has reached out and held classes to diverse groups from teens to seniors.

Jennifer Chiquito

Jennifer Chiquito, Banking Officer/Branch Manager

Jennifer started her career at First Eagle Bank in 2006 as a full-time teller. She was soon promoted to a Personal Banker where she spent the last 7 years building customer relationships and helping small businesses with their daily banking. In 2015, Jennifer was promoted to the Branch Manager of the West Loop facility where she continues to bring in new clients and grow existing relationships as well as maintain the branch’s day to day operations. Jennifer is currently involved with Horizon’s for Youth, a non-profit organization that focuses on the underserved youth in Chicago by providing a path to college through mentoring, tutoring, sponsoring, and simply educating these children about their options. She is also a member of the Young Professionals Board for HACE (Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement), a national non-profit organization dedicated to the employment, development, and advancement of current and aspiring Latino professionals.

Kay Gieseke

Kay Gieseke, Banking Officer

Kay came to First Eagle Bank with eleven years of experience in bank operations and received her training through the American Institute of Banking. She joined First Eagle in 2010 as a part time teller and then cross trained as a relationship banker. Kay then became a full time employee in the bookkeeping department. She transitioned to the position of Bookkeeping Supervisor and has the responsibility of overseeing the day to day functions of the bookkeeping department.

Isabel Guzman

Isabel Guzman, Banking Officer

Isabel began her career at First Eagle Bank in 2007 as a part-time teller while attending college. From there, she spent some time working in Personal Banking and has steadily grown and taken on more responsibility at the bank. Following her graduation from UIC with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2013, she secured a fulltime position as an Accounting Analyst at the bank’s Hanover Park location. Today, Isabel is an Accounting Officer. Her duties include administration of the bank’s investment portfolio, financial reporting and Call report preparation.

Isabel Guzman

Lynn Haschak, Disbursement Officer

Lynn began her banking career back in 1989 where she worked in the student loan department of River Forest Bank. She joined First Eagle in 1996 and has worked in all areas of the loan department. Currently she works in the Disbursement Area and handles all of the consumer loan documentation as well as commercial documentation for some of the bank’s loan officers. Some of her other responsibilities include the payment of property taxes for the bank and the training of new employees to the Disbursement Area. Recently, she has been promoted to Disbursement Officer and works alongside Nonoy Vargas and Melanie Weirich with the running of Loan Operations.
