Gib joined the Board of Directors for First Eagle Bank in 2004. He is the founding Director of the International Center for Futures and Derivatives at UIC where he is Emeritus Professor of Economics and Finance.
Gib received a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) and a PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan.
