Katie is happy to be part of a bank so committed to giving back to its community. She started her career in banking as a part time teller while attending college where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and MBA in Finance from DePaul University. From the teller line she moved to Personal Banking and continued to take on increasingly responsible jobs in many areas of the bank. She was initially responsible for Compliance, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) & Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) along with many other responsibilities. Eventually it became a full-time focus as the financial landscape changed. Katie will continue to learn and share her experience in that role here at First Eagle as Vice President.
Katie volunteers her time at the nonprofit organization Hope’s Front Door, providing financial literacy to participants who are facing financial and/or medical crises.
