First Eagle Bank was able to secure a $25,000 small business grant for Nelson’s Environmental Solutions (“NES”) through the FHLBC’s Community First Accelerate Small Business Grant initiative. NES partners with the Chicago Housing Authority and provides vital rehabilitation services to the organization to turn units for families and people in need of affordable housing. The grant will allow NES to expand its capacity and bring in additional clients through purchasing new equipment, office space, improving workflow processes, as well as providing additional training for employees.
